Get yourself back on track to a healthier lifestyle at the 15th Annual First Hawaiian Bank Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair on Tuesday, July 24, at the Kihei Community Center. The opening ceremony begins at 8:15 a.m. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The bank sponsors this annual event as a community service to Maui residents and visitors.
The event will include 37 exhibitor booths providing the latest trends and information to help you make informed decisions about your health. There will be free health screenings for glucose and cholesterol, nutritional screenings and much more.
The Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair is on Tuesday, July 24 at the Kīhei Community Center, beginning at 8:15 a.m.
Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa and his cabinet members will be available to talk story with participants during "County on Your Corner."
The Maui County Office of Aging will demonstrate their EnhanceFitness, a low-cost, highly adaptable exercise program designed especially for older adults of all ability levels. The one-hour classes include stretching, strengthening exercises and low-impact aerobics to increase flexibility and balance.
Enjoy door prizes and games throughout the fair, as well as live entertainment, including senior 'ukulele group Pennies from Heaven and the Kaunoa Southside Kupuna Hula Group.
The winner of the grand prize drawing will receive a $200 gas gift card courtesy of Mid Pac Petroleum and 76.
To help prevent identity theft, Access Information Management will shred for free up to two bankers boxes of confidential documents for free per person.
In addition to First Hawaiian Bank, the Maui PrimeTime Wellness Fair is co-sponsored by Maui County Office on Aging, ADRC Hawai'i and Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i LLP.
