Maui Senior Citizen, Planning and Coordinating Council installs officers

Members and guests of the Maui Senior Citizen, Planning and Coordinating Council (P&CC) celebrated the holidays and the installation of their newly elected officers on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. (MEO). Family Center in Wailuku.

County Councilmember Gladys Baisa was the installing official swearing in President Ruth Yamamura, Vice President Kathy Philips, Secretary Charlotte Asato, Corresponding Secretary Betty Delima and Treasurer Napua Turley.

The P&CC members are presidents from 56 senior clubs throughout Maui County, representing over 1,800 members. The presidents gather for monthly meetings at MEO where they discuss senior issues, identify potential speakers to come to their individual club meetings, and plan excursions and events for their members.
