The sixth annual Maui Mystic Island Festival will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 through Sunday, Feb. 3, at the VFW beach campground in Kihei, 1136 Uluniu Road at the end of Lipoa Street.
The event offers four days of beachside camping and a cultural gathering of world music, electronica, reggae, visionary arts, workshops, healthy foods and community.
A five-day kama'aina rate weekend pass, which includes camping and access to all events from noon Thursday, Jan. 31, until noon on Monday, Feb. 4, is $150; non-residents pay $210. Thursday-only day passes are $10 and include camping.
Day passes (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) for Friday are $35; Saturday, $45; and Sunday, $45.
Night and camping passes (after 10 p.m. to10 a.m.) are $15 per night.
Advance passes are available at Mandala Ethnic Art in Pa'ia and Lotus Heart Gifts (Temple of Peace) in Ha'iku.
