Maui High School wins regional ocean science education competition

On Saturday, Feb. 23, Maui High School won the Aloha Bowl, a regional ocean science academic competition of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB). The Aloha Bowl was held at the University of Hawai'i.

Maui High now moves on to face 24 other regional champions in the 16th Annual National Ocean Sciences Bowl at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on April 18-21 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The winning team from Maui High is coached by Ed Ginoza. Team members are Steven Okada, Bryson Galapon, Min Sung Kim, Gabriel Salazar and Riley Camp.
