Local Artist Selected for International Exhibition

April 18, 2013
The Maui Weekly

The International Society of Acrylic Painters received 268 painting submissions for their 2013 5th Annual ISAP International Open Online Show. Maui artist Brad Forsythe was one of only 53 artists selected for the show with "Towards Hana," a mixed media on canvas work.

"Towards Hana is a recently completed painting that has a special connection for me," said Forsythe. Living on the far-east side of Ha'iku, I'm frequently traveling "Towards Hana" with visitors and locals alike. It's so inspiring to have the beautiful view along the North Shore as part of my daily routine. I'm truly honored to have my work included among such a large group of talented artists."

Artist Skip Lawrence, co-author of Palette Magazine, was the sole juror for the exhibition.
