Pacific Business News - The median price of a single-family home in Maui County rose 17 percent last month even as sales dipped slightly, according to statistics from the Realtors Association of Maui.
The median price of a single-family home in March was $508,000, compared to $435,000 in March 2012. That was based on sales of 79 homes, which included five homes on Lana'i and one on Molokai, compared to 82 sales during the same month last year.
Maui County condominium sales, on the other hand, dropped 22 percent in March to 101 units sold, compared to 130 sales last year. The March sales included three condos sold on Lana'i and one sold on Molokai.
The median price of a Maui County condo in March was $375,000, which was 2 percent higher than the median condo price in March 2012, which was $368,043.
