The American College of Radiology (ACR) recently presented Andrew Kayes, M.D., of Maui, with the overall excellence chapter award for the Hawai'i Radiological Society (HRS). Dr. Kayes is medical director at Maui Diagnostic Imaging and serves as councilor for HRS. He was recognized on behalf of the Hawai'i chapter in Washington D.C. at ACR's awards ceremony during their Annual Meeting & Chapter Leadership Conference. This is the second consecutive overall excellence award for HRS, which provides radiologists throughout the state of Hawai'i with a professional network to ensure local access to high quality education, advocacy and support with evolving challenges in today's health care industry.
"I am glad to have played a small role in ensuring that radiology in Hawai'i is setting a standard of excellence that is unmatched," said Dr. Kayes.
