Food security, local food, productive farmland, agricultural entrepreneurs and farming are the focus of a panel presentation called "Ag4Maui" on Tuesday, July 30, at 6 p.m. in the Pilina Building's Multi-purpose Room at the University of Hawai'i College.
From gardening to full-scale farming, Maui agricultural opportunities, agriculture's importance, and its benefits and lifestyle will be described by Maui's ag experts. Both new and established farmers will be available to share their experiences and talk story.
Those who want farming in their future, or have any interest in getting involved in agricultural production are encouraged to attend Ag4Maui, and everyone interested in the health and development of Maui farmers are invited as well.
Questions will be welcomed and encouraged.
