Build Your Business Through Online Customer Reviews
Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, noon to 1 p.m.
Bob and Josh Sommers, founders of the Internet Marketing Association of Hawai'i and the creators of the Five Star Review System, will show you how to become the most trusted service provider in your industry through the acquisition of five-star customer reviews and referrals. The vast majority of people looking for the products and services you offer go to a trusted friend for a referral first. In the absence of a personal referral, they go to the Internet to read what others have written about you and your company. The company with the most and the best reviews gets all the business.
Affordable Care Act, Health Insurance and My Business
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
There's been quite a buzz about the Affordable Care Act since it was conceived and signed into law. Like it or not, the way we deal with healthcare costs as individuals and as business owners will now forever change. Are you a small business owner who is worried how all these changes will affect your bottom line?
This workshop will help you understand some of the basics of Affordable Care Act, Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), the Hawai'i health insurance marketplace (the Connector) and the small business tax credits.
Participants of this workshop will also learn about low cost and no cost health insurance coverage for individuals, families and part time employees. For small business employers and self-employed individuals, this workshop is a must to also learn how to offset the cost of employees' health insurance premiums to add to your revenue.
Nikki Baysa is the program specialist for the Hawai'i Health Connector.
