Hawaiian Airlines' travelers to and from Seattle will enjoy on-demand seat-back entertainment and more legroom beginning Dec. 8, when the airline up-gauges the aircraft used on daily flights between Seattle, Honolulu and Kahului.

In addition, the airline's change to 294-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft will add a total of a total of 60 more seats each day between Seattle and Hawai'i. The airline currently operates a 264-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on its Seattle routes.

"The demand for travel to both Honolulu and Maui has been robust, and we are pleased to be showing our commitment to the routes by adding additional capacity and newer aircraft with more comfortable seating and enhanced amenities," said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines president and CEO.

Hawaiian Airlines offers daily non-stop service between Honolulu and Seattle and Kahului and Seattle. The daily service will continue with slightly adjusted times beginning Dec. 8.
